Thanks I don't seem to be able to start a thread here. I was looking for one, but maybe I just don't have permission
ReplyDeleteWhew. I thought I'd need a 12-step group
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Kosh's Shadow, and I'm a C2 addict"
I'm JCM and I'm a C2 addict.
ReplyDeleteI was busy this weekend, and noticed it wasn't loading but didn't track it down. I thought it was just me, and I'd sort it out when I had a chance.
Do I have the ability to create a thread here? I looked but couldn't see how
DeleteDo you have "New Post" in the upper right corner next to you logon?
DeleteLet me dig around and see if I can find who has permission to do what.
Just Dashboard and Sign Out
DeleteBummer, I can't find a permissions list either.
DeleteSince this is a temporary site, I guess it is what Buzz calls Banned Camp
ReplyDeleteNo C2? Saturday through today:
ReplyDeleteReplaced my wife's computer (old one was flaky, and then it hung completely), including getting files off in safe mode and put on the new computer.
Put the drift breaker kit on the snowblower
Assembled a new desk chair because the old one's cylinder would lower me to the bottom every so often.
Got two classes graded, but still have a lot of discussion to catch up on.
Today had two phone screens, both probably proceeding to the next step, and one call with an agency about a position.
I think I did more, too, but my mind is fried at this point.
One phone screen left me with an assignment - set up a fantasy sports account with them, they'll put $5 in, and see how it works, because the technical phone screen will be related to the way their site works. I set up the account, and watched a couple of videos about it, and I'm waiting. Have permission from my wife to put in some of my own money, too.
And there was so much to discuss this weekend - like the photo of Obama with Farrakhan that surfaced now that he can't be president again.
ReplyDeleteAnd Poland has outlawed saying "Polish death camps"
ReplyDeleteOK. Polack death camps. Is that better?
Folks, I am desparate for conversation and news. Anyone else out there?
ReplyDeleteJust us aliens.
DeleteSo, are you a C2 addict as well?
Absofrigginlutely.
DeleteThe kind of article the media hates about Trump:
ReplyDeleteCIA director presents sharp, engaged president
http://www.bostonherald.com/opinion/op_ed/2018/01/thiessen_cia_chief_paints_picture_of_sharp_engaged_prez
I asked CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who personally briefs the president almost every day, to take us inside how Trump receives his most highly classified briefing: the president’s daily brief, or PDB.
“We present the president with the most exquisite information any policymaker would ever have the privilege of having a chance to read,” Pompeo said. “The president asks hard questions. He’s deeply engaged. We’ll have rambunctious back and forth, all aimed at making sure we’re delivering him the truth as best we understand it. He’ll ask questions from time to time that we frankly don’t have the answer to. ... We’ll go back and, within a couple of hours, deliver that information as best we can.”
...
Is Trump a sophisticated consumer of intelligence? “I have seen 25-year intelligence professionals receive briefings. I would tell you that President Trump is the kind of recipient of our information at the same level that they are,” Pompeo said. “We’ll be sitting in a National Security Council meeting talking about a particular topic, and he’ll bring up something that I briefed him on weeks or months ago. ... He’s using it. He’s taking it on board, and I’m confident that our team is delivering in a way that’s delivering value to the president.”
Trump plays the media like a violin. He casts some worm on Twitter and the media all jump at it like they're trout.
DeleteAnd they don't get it. They don't get that this is how they got him elected.
I know few people check this board anymore, but I wanted to let everyone at C2 know that Pi Mom just passed away peacefully in her sleep, about a half hour ago. She wasn't in any pain.
