The Liberty Pub - Halloween Edition - OPEN #2

This coming Saturday is Halloween! C2 is celebrating all this week, by introducing liberty pub posts with a fun, scary Halloween classic!

Back in 1976, ABC thought it would be a good idea to produce and broadcast The Paul Lynde Halloween Special. It's scary, but in a far different way than most of these other Halloween videos.

The video features Margaret Hamilton (the Wicked Witch of the West from the classic 1939 Wizard of Oz film), "Witchiepoo" (Billie Hayes), Tim Conway, Roz Kelly (Best known as "Pinky" Tuscadero on Happy Days), Florence Henderson, Billy Barty, Betty White, Donny & Marie Osmond and KISS.

Below it's shown as the full special, but it's one of those programs that you can jump around, and it still remains just as coherent.

  31. Evening all. Any help that can be given to counteract the stupid in this crap from my Denomination's "justice" blog? Not to convince him, but to not let the lie stand for others to see.

He says that the palis are not mismanaging their West Bank water system and the Israelis are mean and control the whole thing and are breaking it on purpose.

  32. about time, wench.

  33. John McCain was looking pretty good on Hannity moments ago talking about Health Care and the BANANA OPTION, saying he can remember as though it was yesterday then-candidate Obama promising to hold "open meetings with all the players, Republicans and Democrats, on C-SPAN" you know, to be the MOST TRANSPARENT administration ever.

BANANA OPTION of public government healthcare, like in BANANA republics that have FIDELCARE. "FREE Health care" so good it makes you throw yourself & family into the shark-infested seas on makeshift rafts!

  37. Just so everyone is clear, here is a new listing for the MSM-TV:

    Understanding TV News Acronyms

    * NBC: New Barack Channel
    * ABC: Another Barack Channel
    * MSNBC: My Seriously New Barack Channel
    * CBS: Continuous Barack Show
    * FOX: Flagrant Obama Xenophobes

    Everyone got that then?

    Thank you

  39. Spenser with an S,

Are the Palis "making the desert bloom" like the Israelis did with THEIR watering technology & hard work?

I rest my case. The Palis tore up the green houses given them by the Western Quartet, and also tore up the water pipes supplying the greenhouses.

    I rest my case again.

Only one party is destructive and hell-bent on murdering the other party.

    Can I get an amen?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Spenser,

You could point out how the Palis stole all the piping from the cesspool in Gaza to make rockets. The cesspool overflowed, broke the levee and drowned several people in their own filth. That incident was perfectly emblematic of the entire Pali society.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Helen, I'll keep that in mind when I umm reach your age, 89 isn't it?

He makes me feel like a dove

  54. Phil, it is a 'bridge' mid-range camera.
Lots of features are possible to use by hand, which is neat. Very good pictures, 10,2 mil. pixels, a 12x zoom and a seperate viewfinder.

  55. I will show you to your car Helen. Just drive safe okay?

    ReplyDelete
  56. UGH, I cannot believe those 6 flying Imams who asked for seat-belt extensions & prayed to Allah loudly, frightening other passengers, reached a financial settlement with US Air and the airport commission. As if THEY were discriminated against while flying in the US.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright gets anywhere near me at an airport, I don't fly near or with him. It was bad enough running into Reverend Jesse Jackson at Reagan National Airport once.

Do you think there's a chance that Hoh guy who resigned over Afghan situation, has Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome or mental depression? Which would be a perfectly normal response to deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I will be back in a second folks. Come along Miss Helen, the parking lot should be safe.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Damn, I missed Helen.
    Should I reload?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Is all clear now? Can I come out from under my hiding?

Ufff! A breath of fresh air.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Be careful Helen, if you're considered "rich" Barney Frank might just jump out from behind a car and trick or TAX YOU again.

    ReplyDelete
  71. OK, Erik, what do you call a bunch of retired Redskins watching a Super Bowl game?
    Senior citizens,

What do you call 47 guys watching the NFL playoffs? The Washington Redskins.

  72. Truck Monkey, can I get you something, hon?

  73. I am back. She should be home safe and sound. Now where was I again? Oh yeah, sounds like a good camera Callahan. What I like about mine is the ability to swap out lenses to suit the situation. Now all I need is to get more then one lens. :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. We've been fighting over there since 2002....we need to make a clear and coherent set of goals and then do whatever it takes to get it done. I fault GWB for not setting that when he was in charge and now I place it on Obama's shoulders.

Leaving would be an easy out, but that would cost us down the road. I hope Obama realizes that.

  75. Brandy, gin. Lots of it, please.

At least one guy stood up to Jesse Jackson

    T. J. Rodgers, the outspoken CEO of Cypress Semiconductor, has dared to say that would-be Emperor Jesse Jackson has no clothes. When Jackson announced he was bringing to Silicon Valley his crusade to force corporate America to hire more minorities and women, Rodgers compared Jackson to "the sea gull that flies in, craps on everything, and flies out." Rodgers objected to the way "Jackson makes a living on dividing people" and added that high-tech firms like Cypress are desperate to hire all qualified candidates.

  80. Hey Brandy.
    Coffee please.
I did kind of feel sorry for Jason Campbell last night. He got to explore the roots of FedEx Fields grass pretty well.

  82. Desert Dog,

Isn't it good however that Pakistanis are finally getting serious about the threat to Pakistan from deranged islamists? Their governments and military have been jerking the US around too long, using our billions to arm against INDIA, instead of islamists!

It's time islamic republics got serious & defended themselves from their home-grown or trans-national jihadist problem.

Enough with Saudi "terrorist therapy rehabilitation" programs that don't work.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Coffee it is, Truck Monkey. How's everything going for you?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Jim,

Not the first time, either. Iran has been providing weapons to terrorists in Yemen, Somalia, Lebanon, Gaza, Egypt, Iraq & Afghanistan. Nobody has yet treated any of that as an act of war. What's to stop them?

  85. Darn it has gotten late again.

  89. JCM, thanks for that! I LOVE T.J. Rodgers! He spoke at a semiconductor industry annual meeting dinner held in the Air & Space Museum under Lindbergh's plane. Rodgers was a hoot.

Good for him, telling Jackson the attention whore & parasite to go bug CHINA for a change and see if the Communist Chinese give a flying F what Jesse Jackson thinks.

  94. JCM,

The spike in violence in Afghanistan is due to several things:

    1. Defeated AQ terrorists are leaving Iraq
    2. Pakistan army is putting pressure on AQ & Taliban, forcing them to move north to Afghanistan.
    3. More US troops in Af'stan means more contact & fighting.
    4. Iran is arming and aiding terrorists entering Af'stan.
    5. Obama's projected weakness.

    It's a perfect storm.

    He spares no one......

Rodgers tells nun he'll have none of that political correctness stuff

In an exchange of letters that began in April and came to light last week in the Wall Street Journal, Sister Doris Gormley of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia suggested T.J. put qualified women and minorities on his board of directors, and T.J., in turn, suggested the sister get lost.

More specifically, he said that few women and minorities were qualified--that is, had advanced technical degrees and CEO experience--for his company's board.

Further, he charged that Sister Gormley's views were "more politically correct than Christian," and recommended she get off her "moral high horse."

Apparently Cypress shareholders, to whom T.J. distributed copies of his six-page missive, agreed.

Of the more than 200 letters he has received, only 15 have been critical of him.

We're not about to be critical of either T.J. or Sister Gormley, but we would suggest that the Cypress chief again has performed a valuable service by saying aloud what many have been thinking.
