This coming Saturday is Halloween! C2 is celebrating all this week, by introducing liberty pub posts with a fun, scary Halloween classic!
Back in 1976, ABC thought it would be a good idea to produce and broadcast The Paul Lynde Halloween Special. It's scary, but in a far different way than most of these other Halloween videos.
The video features Margaret Hamilton (the Wicked Witch of the West from the classic 1939 Wizard of Oz film), "Witchiepoo" (Billie Hayes), Tim Conway, Roz Kelly (Best known as "Pinky" Tuscadero on Happy Days), Florence Henderson, Billy Barty, Betty White, Donny & Marie Osmond and KISS.
Below it's shown as the full special, but it's one of those programs that you can jump around, and it still remains just as coherent.
Ha! FIRST! FIRST!
ReplyDeleteWho is still running up the stairs?
ReplyDeleteHi Pink! What can I get for you this evening?
ReplyDelete4th!

ReplyDeleteHi y'all, again.
ReplyDeleteA very special hi to {Pink}!
Thanks Brandy, I always love a little finger food.
ReplyDeleteHelen, he can't help but be a jackass. Look at what party he belongs to.

Hi everyone. I jumped in at the very end of the last thread. Brandy, can we still get the fancy tiki drinks in here?
ReplyDeleteHey hey Callahan! I agree with AW about the ex! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHola mi amigas y amigos!
ReplyDeleteHey Brandy! Heck, gimme one of those Zombie drinks with all the extras!
ReplyDeleteHi Pink. Looks like I started something!
I told him it made him look like a jackass.
ReplyDeleteHelen, maybe he subscribes to the philosophy of "go with what you know".
I always love a little finger food.
ReplyDeleteIs DEZ here?
Brandy those finger snacks are disgusting. lol
ReplyDeleteHi {snowcrash} - here we meet after having just missed each other yesterday!
ReplyDeleteHi Dawg!

Pink - all is good, you gals rock!
ReplyDeleteHi Cal. Good to "see" you.
ReplyDeleteBrandy those finger snacks are disgusting. lol
ReplyDeleteCareful of those. I think DEZ or OLT may have had something to do with them. ;-)
/hi snowcrash!
Here you are, Pink!
ReplyDeleteHelen, be right with you.
Pink, I need the recipe. lol
ReplyDeleteI miss Sage. A woman has needs ya know.
ReplyDeleteola mi amigas y amigos!
ReplyDelete---
"Hallo meine Freunde!"
Pink I have not seen DEZ tonight. I will be under table 5 until "you know who" leaves. Brandy please just leave my drinks near the edge.
ReplyDeleteOh oh, Helen is itchy.
ReplyDelete*hiding in the most inconspicuous place*
If your going to be under the table anyway, Erik...
ReplyDeleteHelen, here's your rye whiskey!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing tonight, dear?
Helen, even at your age? Now, give us the dish on Sage. (j/k Sage if you are out there!)
ReplyDeleteHere yourgo, Bat.
ReplyDeleteJust letting ya's know, I have a camera, and I ain't bashful about using it....
ReplyDelete/some one has to document the bloodshed. :)
May I please have a wee dram of Scottish antibiotics when you get the chance, Brandy?
ReplyDeleteEvening all. Any help that can be given to counteract the stupid in this crap from my Denomination's "justice" blog? Not to convince him, but to not let the lie stand for others to see.
ReplyDeleteHe says that the palis are not mismanaging their West Bank water system and the Israelis are mean and control the whole thing and are breaking it on purpose.
Cal, do you need a drink?
ReplyDeleteabout time, wench.
ReplyDeleteThat's why they invented ky, snowcrash.
John McCain was looking pretty good on Hannity moments ago talking about Health Care and the BANANA OPTION, saying he can remember as though it was yesterday then-candidate Obama promising to hold "open meetings with all the players, Republicans and Democrats, on C-SPAN" you know, to be the MOST TRANSPARENT administration ever.
ReplyDeleteBANANA OPTION of public government healthcare, like in BANANA republics that have FIDELCARE. "FREE Health care" so good it makes you throw yourself & family into the shark-infested seas on makeshift rafts!
Sorry for the delay, Helen, it's on the house.
ReplyDeleteIf your going to be under the table anyway, Erik...
ReplyDeleteI'll keep an eye out for Mrs. EriktheRed ....
'Nite, all you folks. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletePhil - a beauty. Mine is this.
ReplyDeleteHelen, here's your rye whiskey!
ReplyDeleteIt's a whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If I don't get rye whiskey, well, I think I will die
G'nite, Buzz!
ReplyDeleteJust so everyone is clear, here is a new listing for the MSM-TV:
ReplyDeleteUnderstanding TV News Acronyms
* NBC: New Barack Channel
* ABC: Another Barack Channel
* MSNBC: My Seriously New Barack Channel
* CBS: Continuous Barack Show
* FOX: Flagrant Obama Xenophobes
Everyone got that then?
Thank you
If I disappear for a few it means I have to reboot, guys. I think I'm okay now but this old machine was making me wonder there for a couple of minutes.
ReplyDelete'nite, Buzz.
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams Buzz!
ReplyDeleteGood night Buzz!
ReplyDeleteSpenser with an S,
ReplyDeleteAre the Palis "making the desert bloom" like the Israelis did with THEIR watering technology & hard work?
I rest my case. The Palis tore up the green houses given them by the Western Quartet, and also tore up the water pipes supplying the greenhouses.
I rest my case again.
Only one party is destructive and hell-bent on murdering the other party.
Can I get an amen?
Spenser,
ReplyDeleteYou could point out how the Palis stole all the piping from the cesspool in Gaza to make rockets. The cesspool overflowed, broke the levee and drowned several people in their own filth. That incident was perfectly emblematic of the entire Pali society.
Rest well buzz.
ReplyDeleteHelen, I'll keep that in mind when I umm reach your age, 89 isn't it?
ReplyDeleteWe got it, Dog!
ReplyDelete/that took longer than I would have expected
Night, Buzz. Maybe next time we can sit together. I have some poetry I write when I'm not doing exemplary journalistic duties. Like this:
ReplyDeleteRoses are Red
Violets are purple, kind of
Sage is hot and sexy
He makes me feel like a dove
Callahan: that camera looks svelte. What type of level is it? Entry? professional? mid range?
ReplyDeleteNight Buzz, see you tomorrow.
Helen T, You boozy old broad! How they hangin'?
ReplyDeleteFacts is facts, Alegrias.
ReplyDelete/amen!
Alegrias - Amen
ReplyDeletefrom an atheist to boot. ;-)

Wow. An old softy under that crusty exterior.
/who knew!
THis has gotta hurt:
ReplyDeleteSean Hannity says VP Biden's popularity rating is lower than VP Cheney's was at the same point in the Bush-Cheney administration.
WHOA!
Kenneth, here's your scotch.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay, 'puter is acting up.
I'm surrounded by nincompoops posing as journalists, BatGuano. They wouldn't know working a beat if it bit them on the posterior.
ReplyDeleteHelen, did you know that Sage tried to save a little wounded dove once? You have a sweetie there.
ReplyDeleteMore snacks.
ReplyDeleteI need to go get beauty sleep. WHO IS WALKING ME TO THE JAG?
ReplyDeleteThank you, lass.
ReplyDelete(gulp)
Ah... thats better
Phil, it is a 'bridge' mid-range camera.
ReplyDeleteLots of features are possible to use by hand, which is neat. Very good pictures, 10,2 mil. pixels, a 12x zoom and a seperate viewfinder.
I will show you to your car Helen. Just drive safe okay?
ReplyDeleteUGH, I cannot believe those 6 flying Imams who asked for seat-belt extensions & prayed to Allah loudly, frightening other passengers, reached a financial settlement with US Air and the airport commission. As if THEY were discriminated against while flying in the US.
ReplyDeleteReverend Jeremiah Wright gets anywhere near me at an airport, I don't fly near or with him. It was bad enough running into Reverend Jesse Jackson at Reagan National Airport once.
Erik, would you be a gentleman and walk Miss Helen to her car?
ReplyDeleteU.S. official resigns over Afghan war

Phil, that's very sweet of you. Thanks.

If that will make her leave Hell yes.
Evening all. That is the scariest video I've seen in a long time. Bar Wench, give me a double.
ReplyDeletethank you, Phil. Only one with any manners.
ReplyDeleteGood night, Helen T. I hope of the gentlemen here will be attentive to your needs.
ReplyDeleteErik, would you be a gentleman and walk Miss Helen to her car?
ReplyDeleteI'll do it!!!!! Me me me please?

ReplyDeletePhil, that's very sweet of you. Thanks.
Thanks 2P for taking one for the team. :)))
good night fans.
ReplyDeleteKenneth,
ReplyDeleteDo you think there's a chance that Hoh guy who resigned over Afghan situation, has Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome or mental depression? Which would be a perfectly normal response to deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I will be back in a second folks. Come along Miss Helen, the parking lot should be safe.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I missed Helen.
ReplyDeleteShould I reload?
Is all clear now? Can I come out from under my hiding?
ReplyDeleteUfff! A breath of fresh air.
Jim, martini or gin and tonic double?
ReplyDeleteBe careful Helen, if you're considered "rich" Barney Frank might just jump out from behind a car and trick or TAX YOU again.
ReplyDeleteOK, Erik, what do you call a bunch of retired Redskins watching a Super Bowl game?
ReplyDeleteSenior citizens,
What do you call 47 guys watching the NFL playoffs? The Washington Redskins.
Truck Monkey, can I get you something, hon?
ReplyDeleteI am back. She should be home safe and sound. Now where was I again? Oh yeah, sounds like a good camera Callahan. What I like about mine is the ability to swap out lenses to suit the situation. Now all I need is to get more then one lens. :)
ReplyDeleteWe've been fighting over there since 2002....we need to make a clear and coherent set of goals and then do whatever it takes to get it done. I fault GWB for not setting that when he was in charge and now I place it on Obama's shoulders.
ReplyDeleteLeaving would be an easy out, but that would cost us down the road. I hope Obama realizes that.
Brandy, gin. Lots of it, please.
ReplyDeleteYou're a sweetheart.
Yemen interrogating seized Iranian vessel crew: spokesman
ReplyDeletehttp://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009-10/28/content_12343806.htm
Iranian ship was caught trying to deliver weapons to AQ rebels in northern Yemen.
Hey JiV. The poor Redskins. Not///
ReplyDeleteHere you are Jim. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteKenneth, that's an act of war. But there isn't much point in Yemen declaring war on Iran, is there? What would they do?
ReplyDeleteAlegrias,
ReplyDeleteI have no idea... his reasons sound somewhat confused to me.

At least one guy stood up to Jesse Jackson
T. J. Rodgers, the outspoken CEO of Cypress Semiconductor, has dared to say that would-be Emperor Jesse Jackson has no clothes. When Jackson announced he was bringing to Silicon Valley his crusade to force corporate America to hire more minorities and women, Rodgers compared Jackson to "the sea gull that flies in, craps on everything, and flies out." Rodgers objected to the way "Jackson makes a living on dividing people" and added that high-tech firms like Cypress are desperate to hire all qualified candidates.
Hey Brandy.
ReplyDeleteCoffee please.
I did kind of feel sorry for Jason Campbell last night. He got to explore the roots of FedEx Fields grass pretty well.
Desert dog, may I get you anything?
ReplyDeleteSure Brandy, a tall cold frosty beer, please
ReplyDeleteDesert Dog,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it good however that Pakistanis are finally getting serious about the threat to Pakistan from deranged islamists? Their governments and military have been jerking the US around too long, using our billions to arm against INDIA, instead of islamists!
It's time islamic republics got serious & defended themselves from their home-grown or trans-national jihadist problem.
Enough with Saudi "terrorist therapy rehabilitation" programs that don't work.
Coffee it is, Truck Monkey. How's everything going for you?
ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteNot the first time, either. Iran has been providing weapons to terrorists in Yemen, Somalia, Lebanon, Gaza, Egypt, Iraq & Afghanistan. Nobody has yet treated any of that as an act of war. What's to stop them?
Darn it has gotten late again.
ReplyDeleteWay too soon for my liking!
I'd prefer to stay here with my friends but my body needs some sleep.

Gals, guys 'n 'menschen'.
See y'all down the road.
I love {y’all) Really!

ReplyDeleteObama dithers, the Taliban sees on opportunity for a quick, easy and cheap victory and ramps up the pressure.
The spike in Taliban activity is directly attributable to Obama's dithering.
Checking my hair in the mirror.

ReplyDeleteNight Callahan, see you tomorrow.

John? Is that you?
Bye Cal.
ReplyDeleteJCM, thanks for that! I LOVE T.J. Rodgers! He spoke at a semiconductor industry annual meeting dinner held in the Air & Space Museum under Lindbergh's plane. Rodgers was a hoot.
ReplyDeleteGood for him, telling Jackson the attention whore & parasite to go bug CHINA for a change and see if the Communist Chinese give a flying F what Jesse Jackson thinks.
Weet dreams {{Cal}}. It's always wonderful to see you.
ReplyDeleteGood Night Cal23. wEEt dreams buddy.
ReplyDeleteJCM,
ReplyDeleteThe spike in Taliban activity is directly attributable to Obama's dithering.
That coupled with his limp-wristed diplomacy.
Dirty Jobs actually showed camels humping.
ReplyDeleteJCM,
ReplyDeleteThe spike in violence in Afghanistan is due to several things:
1. Defeated AQ terrorists are leaving Iraq
2. Pakistan army is putting pressure on AQ & Taliban, forcing them to move north to Afghanistan.
3. More US troops in Af'stan means more contact & fighting.
4. Iran is arming and aiding terrorists entering Af'stan.
5. Obama's projected weakness.
It's a perfect storm.

ReplyDeleteHe spares no one......
Rodgers tells nun he'll have none of that political correctness stuff
In an exchange of letters that began in April and came to light last week in the Wall Street Journal, Sister Doris Gormley of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia suggested T.J. put qualified women and minorities on his board of directors, and T.J., in turn, suggested the sister get lost.
More specifically, he said that few women and minorities were qualified--that is, had advanced technical degrees and CEO experience--for his company's board.
Further, he charged that Sister Gormley's views were "more politically correct than Christian," and recommended she get off her "moral high horse."
Apparently Cypress shareholders, to whom T.J. distributed copies of his six-page missive, agreed.
Of the more than 200 letters he has received, only 15 have been critical of him.
We're not about to be critical of either T.J. or Sister Gormley, but we would suggest that the Cypress chief again has performed a valuable service by saying aloud what many have been thinking.
JCM,
ReplyDeleteYou have to click on my (non) avatar.
OMG
ReplyDeleteGood night all. Time to put my flu to bed.
ReplyDeleteBrandy, I am going to try to make those "finger food" cookies using refrigerator p-nut butter cookie dough. Could be hilarious if they turn out recognizable.
ReplyDeletePresident Obama may have literally encouraged the deranged jihadists when he said Islamic call to prayer was the most beautiful sound in the world he'd ever heard.
ReplyDeleteFunny but my dad who served the US in Pakistan got pretty sick of it 5 times a day and his employees saying "Captain Sahib, got to go pray now" when he needed them to work.

ReplyDeleteWhat sickos these out of the closet control freak kleptocrats be.
It's okay if that happens, Brandy...no worries.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good Halloween costume idea, Alegrias! Has me thinking.
Good night Brandy. Thanks for the drinks.
