Instead of the usual Sunday morning fare, a blast of brilliance from the past. Grab a cup of coffee and danish and spend 30 minutes with Milton Friedman.
And with my avatar showing I give you Rasmussens Daily Presidential tracking poll:
"Sunday, October 25, 2009 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 (see trends).
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.
Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove. The President’s total approval has been very stable, staying between 47% and 49% every day for two full weeks. Looking back a bit further, his ratings have stayed between 45% and 52% every day for nearly four months. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll realwest: this is the 8th out of 9 straight days that Obama's approval ratings have been in negative double digits, and the 9th day he was at -9.
Real: Thats because the government program to disburse free approval points has not kicked in. Once the WH releases them, his poll numbers should equalize./
He defends capitalism, free markets, puts progressives in their place.
He says progressives are just as greedy as capitalists, only their greed is for power over others cloaking their greed in a cloak of justice and doing good.
Well y'all I've done my best, but I gotta NAP NOW! LOL! Hope you all have a great day and that I get the chance to see you all down the road later on today!!
Whoops, hada come back for my friend JCM - No Kidding?! Milton Friedman is in favor of capitalism and free markets? Oh my! LOL! He's sure as hell right about the LEFT though.
HA! FIRST!!
ReplyDeleteHA Ha! Second!

So I am out west - two hours ahead of my regular schedule. Looking for a Packer bar to go watch the game which starts in 2 hours. How bizarre.
ReplyDeleteHey JCM - Who has 30 minutes to sit and listen to the brilliant Mr. Friedman? Doncha have a summary or something?!
