As Scott Rasmussen, president of Rasmussen Reports, wrote recently in the Wall Street Journal: “The most important fundamental is that 68% of American voters have health insurance coverage they rate good or excellent. … Most of these voters approach the health care reform debate fearing that they have more to lose than to gain.”

ReplyDeleteI know that our policies bug some people, and it's hard to know exactly where "the line" is. This is a new blog, but a lot of the people here have known each other for years and there is a certain familiarity you all share. The one common link for everyone here, is they used to be members of another website. That is our shared history.
We have all been wanting to just look ahead, leave the past in the rear-view mirror, and have not wanted to get involved with the "blog war" that is occurring.
We, the admins and mods, have bent over backwards to ensure that we didn't get caught up in it. Comments that have seemed innocent were occasionally deleted ( maybe 1% of the posts here) because we have wanted to "take the high road".
In turn, this has gotten us nothing but a ration of shit, lies, smears, and accusations from other parties. It also led to many more people joining us.
Frankly, I like our policy. I can sleep at night, knowing that I am a better person for it.
Anyway... any other news out there, besides Obama: Obama enlists doctors in healthcare reform campaign and Favre?
