ReplyDeleteAP Asks If Obama Is "Obnoxiously Articulate"
Political reporters have now toggled from worrying that Obama gets "too much" media coverage to asking whether he is "too" good at communicating through the media. Maybe even obnoxiously good. Maybe even -- here comes that loaded word from the primaries -- too articulate.
ROTFLMAO
We have our avatars, for now.
ReplyDeleteFor someone so articulated, Obama sure isn't much of an action figure.
ReplyDeleteNew post and I did not even see it!

ReplyDeleteBut they need not worry that he wont' be over-exposed in th emedia for very long - he's on top of it!
ReplyDeleteThe Obama regime is taking over your television from October 19-25 on more than 60 network TV shows.
If Anita "Mao Mix" Dunn has anything to do with this, I'm sure there will be all kinds of appeals to go volunteer at Planned Parenthood, ACORN, and other "mainstream" causes, oh, and turn your parent sin for not recycling, or speaking ill of the current administration, or...

Tool and die maker, but it wont affect me all that much, I have feeling on the underside of the finger, none on top, so it worked out well in that respect.

Sure is old. Now he has gotten fat and unrecognizable to the old looks.
Running Bare, it looks like the ObamaTV won't affect my viewing habits. I don't watch any of the shows.
ReplyDeleteNow, if they had a segment on Mythbusters, that would be different.
Ribeye will have to go on the grill, mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteObama on Myth busters, now that would be priceless.
ReplyDeleteCallahan23 - I doubt ElBaradi cares, if Israel is gone. He could just stay in NY or Geneva, working for the UN.

Hey DEZ, I cooked my very own brand of chili-con-carne this evening. Yum.
ReplyDeletePins pals, lol.
ReplyDeleteI may just needle them for awhile.
I doubt Obama would be on Mythbusters, the Secret Service wouldn't want him to be that close to the stuff they use - guns, explosives, other things that go boom and break stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd a show busting the Obama myths just wouldn't be as interesting to most people.
Jesus. I go to have a smoke, I come back and my pats are up 52 to freakin' 0. WTF? When did they suddenly start playing this season?

He is incapable of finding flaws in his deeds.

ReplyDeleteI always hated that crap LOL
Fear not, Bare...Bellichek will keep scoring until the Titans can stop then
ReplyDeleteBut then again, the NFL is getting a little too liberal for my tastes, so maybe the Competition Committee will meet after this season and change the rules so everyone gets a trophy at the end for "Participation", instead of that dumb old competitive Lombardi that someone has to earn. Cuz that's just stupid and causes hurt feelings ;)
ReplyDeleteFear not, Bare...Bellichek will keep scoring until the Titans can stop then
ReplyDeletePoor Hoyer - his first ever NFL game, and he's gotta come in in the middle of the 3rd quarter - probably didn't expect to even play today - and he either has to try not to score, or try to score. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't LOL
Oh jesus. Hoyer led them downfield for a first and goal at the 1... Sweet Jesus.
ReplyDeleteChili-Con-Carne a la Callahan
ReplyDeleteA pound of ground-beef. Stir fry looong time. Add to that two small onions nicely cut-up - fry some 'mo. Add a teaspoon of ground cumin, a bit of dried garlic powder, lots of turns of the pepper-mill, a tablespoon of dried sweet paprika, half a teaspoon of salt, some dashes of tabasco sauce and a light powdering of cayenne pepper, stir ---
Then add the tomatoes including its liquid - plus the dried herbs basil and oregano each a tablespoon and half a tablespoon of thyme, a teaspoon sugar.
Let that simmer for at least half an hour. During that time taste for salt and add a whole can (15 ounce) of red kidney beans without the liquid.
Simmer - serve on rice. Yum.
BACKUP QB HOYER, IN HIS NFL DEBUT, 1-YARD TD RUN UP THE MIDDLE.
ReplyDeleteBWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....
Err. I mean, those poor Titans. I cna't imagine how horrible they must feel. They'll have to feel really bad on their way home to their million dollar homes, fancy cars, etc... all the while feeling blue. :(

During this Hopey/Changey year Bear, wouldn't be nice if, say, NE just gave 20 of their point to the Titans?
Perhaps if we didn't hit quite as hard....blocked for one another. Shared in the joys of victory and comforted each other in defeat..............ENOUGH!!

"Yes, yes, very proud, and this is my son Abdul, he was a suicide bomber in Gaza."
Oh, two marters, how proud you must be.
"Yes, so proud, and this is my son, Kareem, he was a suicide bomber in Iran."
You have so much to be proud of, why the tears?
"Because they blow up so fast."

Well, appaently in the name of love and brotherhood and mutual understanding, the Titans put their backup QB in, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope Young doesn't get depressed and run out in the middle of the quarter.

Well, that didn't last long. Young just got picked off.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost tempted to stop watching.
Running Bare,
ReplyDeleteWe've changed from: everyone should have an equal opportunity to: everyone should have en equal result.
So what do you do here? Do you tell your team, your QB to stop trying? As a coach, I mean. Do you just tell your guys, "If you recover a fumble, or get an interception, take a knee?" Do your tell your backup QB in his first game ever to not try and score? Sure, he'll do run-run-run until he needs to get a first down, then pass etc... but what do you do here?

I liked this Eagles line from "Get Over It".
It's like going to confession every time I hear you speak
You're makin' the most of your losin' streak
Some call it sick, but I call it weak
You drag it around like a ball and chain
You wallow in the guilt; you wallow in the pain
You wave it like a flag, you wear it like a crown
Got your mind in the gutter, bringin' everybody down
Complain about the present and blame it on the past
I'd like to find your inner child and kick its little ass
Get over it
Get over it
Sigh... Interception. NE in the red zone again. This is just brutal to watch...
ReplyDeleteSo, 4th and 7. Do you take the easy FG, or do you try a run play just so you dont' deliberatly score? What if you end up scoring anyway?
ReplyDeleteDEZ,
ReplyDeleteBut I will omit the Tabasco. ;)

As long as it serves your palate it is well.
Btw. the long simmering phases are good for releasing the gas-effect of the beans prior to your intestinal system.
Never mind. 1st and Goal.
ReplyDeleteCallahani I boil fresh beans twice for exactly that reason.
ReplyDeleteNope. A yard shy of the 1st down. Turned over on downs. Tennessee's ball.

I use the same base-sauce without the beans to make spaghetti bolonaise.
Instead of the tabasco sauce I often use a bit more of the cayenne pepper. Spices it up a bit. ;-)

Sounds good to me Cal.
Down here we call chili with beans, Yankee Chili.
We have enough gas in this state without adding beans to our chili.
Beans.
ReplyDeleteLooking at pictures, etc., from that base. It looks like a pretty nice place to be if you have to be in Iraq.

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting. So it has begun. The factions are turning on each other. The regime has blamed Britain & the US, naturally. Look for more of this in the coming days and weeks.
Good evening y'all - just a quick few posts before dinner! It's good to see y'all again, sorry but I've been kinda busy lately, sure hope to be out here again more often in the future!

ReplyDeleterats.
Hi DEZ - wow it's HAS been a while since y'all have been out here, I've had my real nic for almost two weeks now.
Course I haven't been out here much either so that could account for it too!
How are you doing tonight?
I'm mensa-mens - Yanks up 2-0; Giants got CREAMED by the Saints.
I sure as hell hope we get to play the Saints again, like next weekend! There were enought cheap shots and bad calls that Giant coach Coughlin mentioned 'em in his post game interview.
Hey there Callahan 23, how are you doing my good friend?
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard from you for awhile so I'm kinda hoping that no news is good news?!?

They'll be trying to find some Jewish site to blow up. Maybe in Argentina again, but probably somewhere else. After all, the mastermind of that bombing is I believe now defense minister.
Realwest - no news meant good news. I did spend my last 2 weeks vacationing, well doing everything to not think of work and it helped.
ReplyDeleteI am now ready to tackle the next round of work until probably christmas. Contract is signed at least until then. But it sure looks good, I get good reviews and the project is scheduled to last well into next year if everything goes well.
Green-Card willing (I hope 'n "pray") I'll not need to sign a future contract. ;-)
Hey Buzz - I'm glad y'all did too! Now I gotta go too, cause mom just called dinner!
ReplyDeleteWe will no doubt chat agains soon!
