How does it feel?

Via HotAir: No, I don't think the White House requested Paterson bow out because of race, but watch for the Democrats to howl at the suggestion.

The Left has absolutely no problem putting words in Joe Wilson's mouth - things he didn't say or even come close to saying - but this suggestion of Steele's will be an outrage in five, four, three, two...

Another nugget over there on a lazy Sunday - Hannah's dad sets the record straight on a number of things: No, It Wasn’t My Idea for Hannah Giles to Dress Like a Hooker and Infiltrate ACORN

  1. He does make an interesting comparison in Corzine, however. What is the factor that would cause Obama to encourage one, and discourage the other?

  2. So Obama discriminates based on wealth, or is it Paterson's disability that puts him at a disadvantage?

    Isn't this game fun? ; )

  3. Oh, wait a minute.....that's BLIND people.

    Sorry....

  4. That's okay. We can extrapolate that he doesn't like deaf people either.

I could get good at this.

  5. Oh wait didn't he make a joke about the special olympics?

I would hazard a guess that he doesn't like disabled at all.
It is this elitism again going in the way of humane behavior.

  6. enuff: That's exactly it. Corzine is largely self-financed. Paterson would be DNC money down the drain.

  7. Callahan, that's right! I had forgotten all about that Special Olympics crack he made on late night tv.

    Hmmmm. We're onto something here. ; )

  8. Thanks for the link to Doug Giles' article. My daughter is one degree of separation from both James and Hannah (i.e. they have several mutual friends). They are nice, dedicated kids, which I think makes this all the harder for ACORN to swallow. Breitbart is promising another big story this week, but no one knows whether it's more ACORN or something else.

  9. CC - No...I'd say Obama discriminates on where the balance of resources are predisposed to advance Obama and teh Ackgenda!

And advance the agenda any which way he can, he will.

  10. I am busy thinking of a new nic for the new diggs. I think I have come up with about ten. Now to decide on one. (unless we can have sockpuppets) :)))

  11. Elitists , the sort of people that always think themselves superior, i.e. more intelligent, wealthier or morally superior or all of the mentioned, are the first to think in terms of utopias.

Yet utopias are the ultimate form of misanthropy one can imagine as the individual is reduced to the value of nothing into the group, people or world population she/he will no longer count.
The individual ceases to exist. Humane considerations are of no value. As the greater good is put in place of concepts as divers as freedom, property, life, wealth and even rational thought. Not to mention humane, ethical and morally correct behavior.

The elitist is THE hater of humanity!
    Defined by the word misanthropy.

  12. Obama wants Corzine to stay in because he wants him to lose. Because, umm...
    IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

Seriously- has the DNC asked Creigh Deeds to drop out of the VA governor's race? He's clueless.

  13. I like the fresh new nics! We'll have tag/sig lines, so if you want a new name but want people to recognize your old one, you can always just reveal who you used to be in your tag for a while.

(No one outside the forum will be able to view comments for a while, so only those inside would be able to see it.)

  14. DGL: Giles/O'Keefe have put the mainstream media to shame. Now, if we could only get THEM (the media) to realize it.

Enuff: I get the feeling that the most corrupt, dangerous people on the political landscape are all right with Obama if they happen to be on the same page he is on a given issue. Chicago politics isn't for nice guys, after all.

  15. A buddy's wife is just back from a safari in Africa. She brought him "a 50,000,000,000 Zimbabewan dollar note, worth nothing. (They have since given up on their own currency and just use US dollars.)"

Eric, do you have any of those?

FWIW my buddy also has a genuine (certified!) scrap of the Ayatollah Khomeieni's burial shroud.

  16. Callahan, well put.

Jim in Virginia: Jim Geraghty at NRO has excellent coverage of Deeds. It would be hilarious if it weren't so sad that about 40% of the population will still vote for him.

  17. Breitbart supposedly has anotehr big story coming out this week. Nothing to do with ACORN.
How do we post links here? Just post the link?

  19. doppelganglander, are you in VA?
Even the WaPO is amused by Deeds. He'll find new revenue for roads, but he won't say how, and it won't be from a tax increase. He went into old geezer lecture mode with a reporter: "Young lady, I just told you...."

LOL. We used to light the BBQ with Zim money. That is very sad and tragic what is happening there. I hope S.Africa does not go down the same road. Some how I think they will though. :(( I just hope it is not as far.

You'd think watching it happen next door would prevent it from occurring there.
Of course you'd also think we wouldn't sell out the Poles and Czechs on the 70th anniversary of Stalin's invasion.

  23. Jim in VA: No, but it's a pivotal election, along with NJ's gubernatorial race. I am originally from NJ, my parents grew up in VA, and my daughter lives in Northern VA now, so I'm interested from a personal standpoint as well.

  26. Could be Obama is picking Patterson NOT to run because he will fit under the bus easy.

  27. PINKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim: If you know the HTML tag for links, go ahead and use that. If not, let us know, and we'll post instructions.

  28. Might be, tfk. Paterson is rather short, right? I imagine it's getting crowded under that bus.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Going to write a song for Obama and the bus deal.

    "Another One Bites the Bus"

One beer, one burbon, one more under the bus..

A.C.O.R.N. $ gets into the Black Panters, could be big goverment has done a sting on
that one, our guy we had inside the A.C.O.R.N. in New Mexico saw the cash trasfer, but has no way to prove it unless he puts his life on the line, we said no, as did his wife.

If ObamaCare™ even remotely resembles workers comp. in application, WE HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM.

Well foog it, we have huge problems.

  33. Good night, Erik!

Enuff: I don't suppose having a shaman is any different than calling your priest, pastor or rabbi when you're in the hospital. As long as taxpayers aren't paying, I guess it's harmless.
