  2. I almost posted a picture of Aaron Rodgers. I wanted to. I really wanted to.

But, you know, this guy was the passing leader (378 yards)...so, I deferred. Plus, Week One is in the bag, and he looks so darn relaxed.

  3. After having a nrevous breakdown throughout the whol eentire game, thinking "We're f-ing losing to Buffalo? Oh my god, it's the 80s throwback uniforms! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" and then they pull out a win in the last two minutes?

Yeah. Ulcers. Last-minute win. Yup. That's about what I expected.

  6. Oh, and of course the Packer game was a heart-attack inducer, too. Good seeing them win one of those. The 'killer instinct' wasn't there last year...maybe that'll turn around now.

  7. LOL Pinkie.

Yeah, Tom Brady's got his share of female fans. LOL

  8. I love those throwback unis, Bare!

Truthfully, I miss Pat Patriot. But, watching my team in those uniforms losing brings back reminders of a byegone era I'd rather not live again thankyouverymuch. LOL

Yeah, but the ending was just as awesome as this one. :D

Now I gotta go look and see if Oakland got their asses stomped into mudholes, and my day will be complete :)

  10. Russell intercepted by San Diego with 12 seconds left. It's a shame, really.

    Heh.

  11. Ah. Well, Bare, I dig 'em. Of course, I've been coveting the Mitchell & Ness Ray Nitschke jersey since I first laid eyes on it, so I guess I just like the old stuff.

    Well it makes sense:

Packers: Long rich history and tradition of winning.

Patriots: Sucked ass through a straw for 30+ years. Finally had a good decade.

    See the difference? ;)

  13. Who is that guy?!

I just know that the New York Giants won baby, and held a divison rival to under 55 yards rushing!

  14. Hey, realwest!

That's what Tom Brady looks like without a big silver hat on. ; )

The 'Skins had only 55 rushing yards? Wow.

I take it you're a Giants fan. I used to work with some sports writers who covered the Giants. I have a soft spot for the team in my heart. Not TOO soft, but a little soft. LOL

  15. Some damn good games this weekend, also some real snoozers.

My Texans laid a freakin' egg.

  16. Hey, tark, we've all been there. I thought you were saying they didn't put any points on the board at all, but I looked and that honor goes to the Rams alone this week.

Man, things can change quickly in this league.

The Pats' luck is still with them, though. Sheesh. How many nailbiters have they won over the last few years?

  17. I'm sick of them pulling wins out of their ass!

  18. Hahahahaha...yeah, I know. Bare is a Patriots fan (as you can see), and we have had many, ummmm...discussions about it. : )
